After the falls tour your guide will transfer you to the Helipad for the helicopter flight over the mighty Victoria Falls. Below the awe-inspiring Victoria Falls, the river dramatically cascades over a 1.7-kilometre-wide gorge. Batoka Gorge is where some of the world’s most thrilling Grade 5 rapids await. Adventure into The Baktoka Gorge wild landscapes for adrenaline, and natural beauty. Beginning with a guided descent into the canyon where guests feel the walls rise around them and learn the gorge’s story. You will glide down a series of smooth natural rock slides, each one faster and more exhilarating than the last, before pausing beside the river for a fresh, scenic picnic. The pace lifts again in the afternoon as harnesses are clipped on for a multi-line zip-lining run that sends you soaring over the canyon, followed by a suspension bridge viewpoint perfect for dramatic photos. Your guide leads the hike through Matobo Hills, where you will step into a landscape complete with nature, history, and spirit woven together in the most striking way. Guests traverse ancient granite domes and sculpted kopjes, following winding paths that open onto sweeping views and hidden valleys. Along the way, guides reveal the area’s rich cultural heartbeat—from sacred sites still honoured today to rock art panels that preserve the stories and symbols of early humanity.
